Senior Project Engineer High Voltage- Rail

Working for a leading rail organisation on a mega rail project in Sydney we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer HV to lead the HV substation installation, test and commissioning package. The role is likely to be a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

The Senior Project Engineer HV will be expected to:

• Oversee and direct sub-contractors.
• Be an effective interface between the design and construction teams.
• Ensure that work is scoped and planned effectively to achieve on time delivery targets.
• Manage procurement activities.
• Ensure claims and variations are managed effectively
• Interface with internal and external deliver partners.

Suitable candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• HV substation installation and testing and commissioning experience ideally in a rail environment.
• Experience as a PE or SPE in HV Power
• Strong stakeholder management skills
